Creators of fake accounts on social media will now be caught red-handed, the government has prepared



According to the draft Personal Data Protection Bill, information on username, password, bank account, credit card, biometric data, mental health, medical records and beliefs will be protected; any person may use any personal information of the person for commercial purposes. Users of stealing photos and information of an important person will no longer be punished.

According to the document, a personal data protection authority of 7 people will be set up for the purpose of data protection which includes the Ministry of IT, Defense, Interior and IT specialists will join.
